Biography:

Dominique LARCHER started his career in 1986, as a Patent Engineer in an international company, in which he participated in the drafting and granting proceedings of many patents, relative to propellant and explosives chemistry. In 1988, he joined a Patent and Trademark Office, in which he developed his expertise in the field of patents and started practising trademarks.

Dominique LARCHER joined the Brevets & Strategie Branch of Vidon Group in 1991, and has been managing the Chemistry-Biotechnologies Department since 2006. He manages and supervises a team of Patent Engineers.

He participates in the elaboration and follow-up of many legal and administrative cases in the field of patents. He drafts and follows the French and foreign patent granting proceedings (PCT, European and others) and also participates in the drafting and negotiation of assignment contracts and patent licenses.

Dominique has a strong expertise in the field of patents relative to chemistry (medication, extraction, explosives) but also treatment of water, food-processing and biotechnologies. Within this framework, he has collaborated with many multinational companies as well as many French and American universities.

He has also acquired an expertise in the field of administrative and legal litigations and has participated in many lawsuits and opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office.
