Biography:

Marion Bénetière started her career in 1994 as a PhD student, in the field of medical image processing, at the Laboratory of Electronics of Philips, then as a research engineer in video compressing technology, in connection with process of standardization of the MPEG-4.

In 2001, she started her training as a patent engineer in the company SPID and worked on files in the field of electronics, image processing and video compression.

In 2005, she joined France Telecom Group, where she managed a portfolio of patents in the field of telecommunication networks and dealt with files of opposition proceedings in Europe. In 2009, she took the responsibility of a team of patent engineers and took part in actions for generating added value with patent third parties in connection with the standardization of the 3G mobile telephone network.

In 2014, she joined the newly created Institute of Research Technology b<>com and had the responsibility of creating an IP and Patent Department. She dealt with files in the field of networks (5G, IoT), video compression in connection with MPEG standardization, medical image processing,, digital holography, virtual and augmented reality.

Marion Bénetière joined the Patent Department at Vidon IP Group in September 2018. She intervenes mainly in the field of telecommunications, image processing, video processing and medical processing, drafting and obtaining patent rights in France and abroad.
