Biography
Quentin began his career in the patent field in 2008. After spending eight years working for three firms in the Paris region—during which time he completed the CEIPI training and passed the European Patent Attorney examination—he took charge of the Grenoble office of a law firm based in the PACA region. In this role, he assisted a wide range of clients (public institutions, major corporations, start-ups, and SMEs) in developing their intellectual property strategies; his work included conducting patentability studies, drafting patent applications, and managing numerous grant proceedings in France, Europe, the USA, China, Japan, South Korea, and Canada.
In April 2026, he joined the VIDON Group as a senior patent engineer.
From ideation sessions for start-ups and SMEs to conducting IP pre-assessments on behalf of the INPI, Quentin possesses extensive experience in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, for whom IP issues are absolutely critical. He places great importance on tailoring his advice to the specific constraints of each client. Quentin has also had the pleasure of working with numerous researchers from universities and public research institutions, employing a proactive and collaborative approach to gain a deep understanding of their technical innovations and to define—on a case-by-case basis—the appropriate protection strategies to implement.
Finally, Quentin taught introductory IP courses at the IUT1-Chemistry department in Grenoble and at the University Côte d’Azur.
